With the lack of students on campus these past semesters, we have seen an increase in our Canadian Geese populations. We have previously tried a few strategies to discourage them from our sites, but nothing has been too successful. Wondering if anyone has had great success with a particular strategy or technique? Thanks for sharing!

We do not have this at Humber College but a previous colleague saw something like this on the roof of a large distribution facility

But we do have a permit from Environment Canada to remove the eggs if there is a nest. Use a company called Hawkeye Board and Animal Control for that.

We currently do not have that issue, but in other areas of the city such as golf courses and the University, they utilize herding dogs who are trained to scare and keep the geese on the move. This works well to discourage nesting.
