      As we refine our flexible working policy, Fanshawe has posted a guideline to help improve digital meetings. They are not mandated but intended as a reference to preferred practices. You’ll note that it is a living document with some appendices on the way. See attachment for our latest version (July 2021).

      A few highlights include:
      a) by default, meetings are online
      b) aim for 45-minute meetings to allow break in schedule
      c) include breaks for meetings that exceed 60-minutes
      d) schedule meetings between Mon-Thurs; 9am-3pm. Avoid Fridays if possible
      e) provide 1-week lead time for meetings
      f) limit in-person meetings for team-building; hands-on training; celebrations; sensitive topics;

      Glad you reached out Tim, I was not aware of an update to our Playbook but, indeed there is!
