Hi Everyone,
Curious if anyone has an EV lab or shop at their campus? At Mohawk, we are looking to start an EV tech program on campus and not sure if there are any special facility related requirements for things like; fire suppression, fume extraction (battery fumes), updates to fire safety plans. I have read that batteries can exceed 600V which technically classifies them as “high voltage”. Or are EV shops treated the same as a typical automotive shop? Thanks in advance for any info you can provide!
