      Hi everybody,

I am looking for policies or directives on remove working and telework. I got the one from Humber, very nice. Anybody else might have one and willing to share ? I know that Brock University has one too but I tried to reach out, no answer.

      Let me know.

      Thank you,

      Lan Chi

      Hi Lan Chi:

Attached is a copy of DC’s Remote work policy. We intend to re-review the policy in September as conditions in Ontario seem to be trending in the right direction generally. There is a considerable desire on the part of our academic leadership team to bring as many people (faculty, staff & students) back to campus as soon as possible. The attached policy was written a number of months ago and had contemplated much more remote work. Ultimately, I expect much of it will remain but it will be more at the discretion of the department rather than the employee.

      Thanks,

      Alan

Fanshawe just released the attached documents to our staff today:
      – Flexible Work Policy
      – FAQ’s
      – Decision Tree
      – Meeting Playbook

We have established a Flexible Work Arrangements Task Team who is assisting with the development and implementation of this new policy and supporting resources/documents.

We are also interested in what other college’s are doing regarding remote/flexible work as well as hoteling workstations/suites to support hybrid work arrangements.

Thank you Shawn. I will share with the group as soon as I have something. Right now, we are muddling through.
